ALUS is a farmer-developed, farmer-led pilot project that provides incentives to farmers for producing "ecological goods and services" such as clean air, clean water and greenhouse gas reduction from private, farmed land. This exciting new concept is being tested on Norfolk County farms as a pilot project for a 3 year period between 2008 and 2010.
